In order to optimize the audio experience of your Samsung Soundbar, you will need to connect it to your TV using an optical cable. This cable has a mini-plug on one end and a standard RCA plug on the other. Once you have connected the Soundbar and TV, make sure that the Audio output setting is set to Optical (not HDMI).
