How to Reset SONY Soundbar without Remote
If your Sony Soundbar is not working properly, there are a few steps that you can take to reset it. First, try unplugging the soundbar and plugging it back in. If this does not resolve the issue, then you may need to reset the soundbar by pressing and holding down the POWER button for about 5 seconds until a blue light starts flashing. After this has happened, release the power button and wait for “SONY SOUNDBAR” to appear on-screen. Press ENTER and follow the on-screen instructions.

To reset your soundbar, first make sure that you have the correct remote and batteries. Next, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds until the TV turns off and then back on again (this will also turn on the sound). Now press and hold – Volume Down (-) plus Input Selector (+) at the same time until a blue screen appears with a message reading “Reset Sound Bar?” Press Yes. The Sound Bar will now restart after which everything should be fine!
